Rotterdam on track with climate goals

The city of Rotterdam is fully committed to reducing their greenhouse gas emissions by 2030 with a minimum of 55 precent and possibily even 60 precent. This became evident at the annual gathering for the Rotterdams Klimaatakkoord (Rotterdams climate agreement) that took place online in late January. The gathering looked back on the results achieved until 2021 and looked ahead at extra action necessary along the road to a climate neutral city and port in 2050.
